The Transdisciplinary School (TD) is the home of the internationally acclaimed Bachelor of Creative Intelligence and Innovation degree and transdisciplinary education and research at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS).Transdisciplinary thinking builds bridges between fields of study and expertise. We integrate different perspectives, data, information, concepts, techniques and theories from multiple disciplines.Our students, researchers and partners are better placed to address the most pressing challenges of our times.
Detailed DescriptionAbout the roleWe are recruiting an Associate Professor to contribute to the learning, teaching and engagement activities within the TD school.As a leader and experienced educator, you will design and develop innovative learning programs and contribute to the delivery of the School's research agenda, while proactively engaging with industry professionals.About YouYou have demonstrated leadership qualities and proven higher education teaching capabilities in developing innovative experiences in transdisciplinary learning. You have strong industry connections with a proven record of collaboration. To be successful, you will also ideally have the following attributes:

• A PhD in related domain with knowledge of transdisciplinary educational industry practice.

• Strong research publication track record

• Ability to secure competitive research grants

Remuneration/SalaryBase Salary Range: $175,059 to $191,905 pa (Level D)This role attracts 17% superannuation (pension) in addition to the base salary.The position is full-time and will be made on a continuing basis.UTS staff also benefit from a wide range of include flexible work practices, child care centres, generous parental leave and salary packaging opportunities.
