delivered jointly by the University of Newcastle and the University of New England and supported by the Central Coast Local Health District and the Hunter New England Local Health District. * Read about theBe challenged and imagine with usThe successful applicant will make a significant contribution to all activities of the School of Medicine and Public Health and within the discipline of Psychiatry.In collaboration with the Central Coast Local Health District, you will have the opportunity to lead in Psychiatry at the Central Coast Clinical School and Research Institute (CCCSRI), deliver successful education programs and build on existing research strengths.It is expected that you will provide leadership in clinical service, research and teaching in mental health with dedicated clinical contribution in this area. An expectation of the role is for the incumbent to contribute to clinical care, leadership and the development of innovative models of mental health care.With a strong leadership role within the CCCSRI, you will have links with academic educators and clinical colleagues at other Joint Medical Program (JMP) teaching campuses including the Hunter Clinical School, the University of Newcastle Department of Rural Health and the University of New England.The successful applicant may be offered secondary employment as a Clinical Academic with the CCLHD in addition to his or her primary employment with the University.
