You will be supporting the CIO at Eastern Health to facilitate the Application Services team to deliver the Eastern Health IT Application Portfolio. You will have the opportunity to lead the team into its next phase of development by improving application governance, process and service area engagement. You will be working with vendors, developers and our diverse stakeholder's group to ensure the Eastern Health application portfolio has best practice processes, is well-governed and meets stakeholder expectations.About youTo be successful in this role you will possess:

• 3+ years’ experience in a similar position including team leadership
• Strong experience in cloud implementation projects and technical architecture of cloud platforms
• Demonstrated experience defining and enhancing application management best practice
• Demonstrated experience across the application lifecycle including managing vendor relationships.
• Preference will be given to applicants with Health sector experience.
• Highly developed interpersonal and leadership experience
• The ability to work as part of a diverse team
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Post Graduate qualifications in a Technology related field is preferable

Essential: 3+ years demonstrated experience managing a high-performing, cohesive team
Essential: Bachelors degree in IT or equivalent degree in Computer Science
Essential: Strong experience in managing cloud implementation projects, and technical experience in Microsoft Azure or other major cloud platforms
