The team
DD&T Portfolio Office is a centre of excellence, coordinating and managing organisation wide projects and transformational change initiatives, providing project management governance and cross-ASIC program management and reporting. The team undertakes ASIC's approach to project and change capability and delivery, performance reporting and business office support.
The role
- Provide project management services for simple projects
- Coordinate stakeholder relationships and project resources to ensure project communication, project plans and timeframes are understood.
- Chair and facilitate steering committees and workshops as relevant.
- Control the scope of simple projects to avoid changes or unnecessary delays
- Develop and maintain project schedules
- Monitor project milestones and project budget
About you
- Relevant tertiary or other relevant qualifications.
- Understanding of project delivery principles and ability to deliver tasks within required timelines.
- Ability to develop reports from various data sources.
- Excellent troubleshooting and analysis skills.
- Ability to contribute to a variety of IT projects and activities.
- Problem solving, analytical and critical thinking skills for investigating and resolving stakeholder, client or systems problems, and for improving work practices and processes.
- Business writing and verbal communication skills are required to establish and develop effective client relationships and present information to different target audiences.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision and be accountable for outcomes.
