Our client is a long-term partner in water infrastructure & clean energy who currently manages >$250m of infrastructure assets and is targeting growth of 300% over the next 5 years.
Their systems currently provide up to 10GL / year of recycled water for industrial, residential and agricultural customers in Australia. They are focussed on the circular economy and have ESG principles at their core.
This is a unique business that combines a global investment and infrastructure ownership model, with an experienced engineering consulting design, delivery and operations team.
Position summary
The Newcastle team are looking to appoint a Project Manager (D&C Water Treatment) to deliver innovative and sustainable water infrastructure projects across water treatment, water recycling and clean energy sectors.
The role would ideally suite someone who has previous experience working for an engineering consultant or water infrastructure projects business.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of project delivery from inception through to completion
- Lead the planning, design, and delivery of water infrastructure and clean energy projects
- Act as the key point of contact for clients which include water utilities, government agencies, industrial and clean energy companies
About you
- Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering is preferred, however consideration will be given to candidates with the relevant Engineering experience
- Minimum of 5 to 10 years’ experience in water, wastewater or recycled water, infrastructure design, construction, commissioning and / or operation
- Experience in project delivery and management across both greenfield and brownfield environments is desirable
- Experience working for an Engineering Consultant or Water Infrastructure projects business
