SalaryJoin Corrs Chambers Westgarth, Australia's leading independent law firm.Our leading Technology, Media and Telecommunications (TMT) practice are currently seeking a talented associate or Senior Associate to join the team in Sydney.The team are consecutively ranked Tier 1 for TMT in Chambers APAC and are market leaders in their field, with a full-service offering covering transactional, regulatory and dispute resolution matters.They regularly advise some of the world's most innovative and best-known e-commerce, media and online brands on strategic commercial transactions, including joint-ventures, acquisitions, procurement, outsourcing, regulatory compliance and product rollouts, as well as disputes in the TMT sector, together with emerging technologies and issues in the sector including information security, privacy, cyber security and data protection.You will work with James North and a team of high-performing practitioners on a broad range of matters. James is a market leader in the TMT sector and one of only three people ranked Band 1 for Telecoms in the Chambers directory for 2023. He was recognised as a Leading Individual in Media by the Legal 500 directory for 2023, named Technology Partner of the Year in 2022 and 2021 and Telecommunications and Media Partner of the Year in 2020 by Lawyers Weekly.This is a nationally collaborative practice group, who work cohesively as one team, so you will have ample opportunity to work across a variety of clients and matters.If you have 3+ years' experience acquired within the TMT space at a reputable commercial law firm, we want to hear from you.Applicants from all jurisdictions will be considered.About us:
