Associate - Technology

The Role
Norton Rose Fulbright's Technology practice group is recognised as one of the leading teams in Australia. You will have direct exposure to a diverse group of clients including government, data centre operators, financial institutions and large corporates. You will work on an array of high-profile and market-leading matters including:

• Acquisition, licensing and/or supply of large-scale hardware, information technology, telecommunications systems, and other goods and services
• Outsourcing, managed services, cloud and bespoke contractual arrangements
• Government procurement (State and Federal)
• Data licensing, privacy, data breach and cybersecurity
• Artificial intelligence

Requirements
The successful candidate will be engaging, highly motivated, and looking for a collaborative and supportive environment in which they can thrive. As an experienced Associate you will be able to demonstrate:

• 2- 4 years PQE with exposure to matters involving telecoms, privacy, cyber, large-scale outsourcing projects and technology procurement
• Experience of transactional technology work
• Outstanding written, drafting and verbal communication skills
• A strong desire to work on complex, high profile matters
• The ability to anticipate, prioritise and effectively manage competing deadlines
