The team
The Accountant role is an opportunity to join our Business Services team in adding value to our clients businesses.
Our team has the combined skills and expertise to provide ongoing support in the financial management business and to help put strategies in place to achieve success.
The Business Services team provides assistance and support to help our clients through every stage of the business lifecycle, from starting their business, improving performance and obtaining the best outcome for every business transaction including valuations, due diligence and deal advice.
About You:
As the ideal candidate, you should possess:
- A tertiary qualification in accounting or a related field (mandatory)
- CA/CPA qualification (preferred)
- Proficiency in advanced Microsoft Excel
- Previous hands-on experience with MYOB AE, Xero, and Reckon (advantageous)
- Over 2 years of experience in public accounting or industry roles
- Demonstrated diligence, adept time management, and exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Aptitude for both independent work and collaborative teamwork
- Eagerness for continuous learning

Our commitment to the Bendigo Community is a top priority for us. While this position offers the convenience of hybrid work, it's essential to note that it is primarily based in Bendigo. As part of this role, you will be expected to be in the office approximately two days a week and occasionally travel to our clients' premises in Bendigo and surrounds.
