The Opportunity
As a senior Town Planner, this role will see you:
- Manage project teams and budgets across a diverse range of project types and industry sectors including - residential, industrial, health, education, infrastructure and renewable energy
- Prepare a range of planning documents including - reports, planning scheme amendments, tender submissions, fee proposals, due diligence, strategic advice
- Help grow and maintain relationships with a range of top tier clients
- Work closely with other professions, both internally and externally, to help deliver practical and timely outcomes for clients
- Utilise existing relationships within your networks to help support business growth
- Lead, manage, mentor and develop graduate and junior planners, fostering our career development culture
- Champion continuous improvement in developing and refining processes, standards and methodologies
About You
First and foremost, you share our passion for bettering the communities we live and work within, both now and in the future. You are a qualified, experienced Town Planner or urban planner who has often been described as dependable and responsive; you are known for doing what you say you’ll do. You will come to us with:
- Extensive experience in the local market, working in a diverse range of projects, geographies and stakeholder groups
- Well versed in commercial management across people, projects, finances, client relations, and contracts
- Demonstrated success in a leadership capacity within a multidisciplinary consulting firm
- A passion for coaching and mentoring; you value a culture of constructive feedback and take a consultative approach
