The Role
As a Senior Associate you will be responsible for daily client consultation and providing professional town planning advice. You will leverage your existing technical planning knowledge and communication skills to advise our established and new clients. Your success will expand our reach in the development industry helping hundreds of exciting development projects come to life. Your goal will to be contribute to and advance our teams professional reputation as industry experts while simultaneously developingyour own professional reputation as an expert Town Planner.

Qualifications & experience
As a Senior Associate, here are the skills that are the 'must haves' for the role:
- Demonstrated professional experience of at least 3 years in the town planning industry.
- Insightful interpersonal and communication skills - you must be an excellent communicator.
- Demonstrated experience in an SME is critical.
- An intimate knowledge local government statutory town planning process' from either the private or within the public sector.
- This is a somewhat autonomous position, you should be self - sufficient andself motivated.

- A gregarious nature for establishing professional working relationships with clients and referral partners such as architects.
- A combination of local government and private sector experience will be held in high regard.
Tasks & responsibilities
- This client facing role requires an ability toestablish professionalrapport early with a diversity of different client types.
- You will be the first point of contact for inbound professional town planning enquiries and follow our systemised process for qualifying clients for our services (training will be provided).
- Preparation of fee proposals from our established templates, following our systemised process for onboarding of new clients and handover activities to the rest of the planning team.
- Daily update and management of the company CRM.
- Crafting content such as thought leadership articles, infographics and case studies that build an engaged audience on social media to expand our reputation as industry experts.
