Form of work About the role In supporting the NUM, the ANUM provides leadership and direction to Nursing staff and is responsible for the facilitation and provision of safe, quality and cost-effective nursing care consistent with contemporary standards and best practice within the Emergency Department. Some of the key responsibilities of the role are: Is accountable for the delivery of safe clinical practice and professional advice. Identifies, selects, implements and evaluates nursing/midwifery interventions that have less predictable outcomes. Works collaboratively with peers and others to create a positive practice environment that achieves best practice outcomes for consumers of healthcare services. Demonstrates specialised knowledge, experience and advanced clinical skills/competence in Nursing. This role may be eligible for the Queensland Health Attraction Incentive.
