Join Our Team as an Audience Specialist
With several exciting projects due to land in 2024, Foxtel is on the hunt for an Audience Specialist responsible for the development of reporting, visualization and dashboarding that bring Foxtel's audiences to life; the products they buy, the content they consume and opportunities to drive customer revenue.
You will build strong relationships with business stakeholders, helping them understand “what's possible” with the vast amounts of data available and collaborate with technical teams to develop solutions that not only look impressive, but answer the right questions in timely manner.
Lastly, you'll be a key driver of Foxtel's self-service BI and visualization objectives. You'll work to ensure that business users of these audience tools (including Tableau) are able to answer questions without assistance where-ever possible and, where it's not, using these use-cases to identify training, support or visualization development opportunities.
Your responsibilities:
- Design, develop and support visualization tools built on Foxtel Groups Tableau platform
Work with data and platform architects to understand and leverage “how data works” at Foxtel group. With this knowledge, look for ways that insight and visualization can be made easier, faster and more intuitive
Build strong relationships with business stakeholders to develop a deep understanding of the organization, business unit strategies and objectives and find opportunities to bring insight where currently lacking
Keep up to date with the latest technologies and trends in digital streaming advertising and share that knowledge with the team
Manage project plans, timelines and resources, monitor milestone completion, provide timely reporting of issues, coordinate actions and resolve blockers
Your experience and capability
- 2+ years experience as a Tableau Developer in a large, complex, data-driven environment
Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders both financially and strategically
Timeliness in all actions with quality consciousness towards services received and provided
Excellent stakeholder engagement and management
Strong coordination, motivational, negotiation and dispute resolution skills
Experience in working on cloud-enabled products e.g. GCP, using business intelligence desirable
Experience working in Lean-Agile environments with a demonstratable understanding of the underlying concepts
