About the Role:As an AV Service Technician at Serity, you will work with some of AV’s most prestigious brands, and play a crucial role in maintaining our well-regarded service record. Experienced or mid-level service techs, electricians and other trades with transferable skills are all encouraged to apply, as we will assess your experience and provide any training as necessary.
Key Responsibilities:Duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Answering customer calls, guiding them through system operations, and logging service requests.
- Conducting remote diagnostics and scheduling on-site service calls when necessary.
- Collaborating with suppliers to repair or replace equipment.
- Maintaining service tickets and invoicing for service works.
- Occasionally assisting with installations and commissioning.

Must Have:
- Experience on construction sites and working with tools. Training will be provided but some experience would be beneficial
- An understanding of AV Systems or a desire to learn quickly
- The ability to work as a team to achieve excellent outcomes
- Valid driver’s license
- Working safely at heights certification (or willing to obtain with our support)
- EWP certification (or willing to obtain with our support)
- A current working with children check (or willing to obtain with our support)
- Construction industry white card (or willing to obtain with our support)
Highly Regarded:
- Ability to read construction drawings
- Experience installing Audio Visual technology
- Basic networking and programming skills
- Open cable license
- Site management experience
- AV manufacturer certifications
- Company van, phone and laptop.
