We are looking for an experienced Senior AV Service Technician to join our on-site team. This is a hands-on service position dealing with a variety of AV technologies at a leading educational institution based in Bundoora.
Key Responsibilities
- Attending to faults as per client’s needs – ensuring support, maintenance and troubleshooting of their AV systems
- Provide professional support and proactive communication to clients – including up to date reports on any open service ticket
- Being the escalation point at the site and providing assistance and guidance to technicians at the site
- Network configuration of AV devices and troubleshooting of common IT faults related to AV devices.
- Conduct preventative maintenance checks and audits and update internal registers and procedures to reflect the current status of rooms
- Provide technical requirements to relevant InSight Systems teams to facilitate quotes and projects as required
- AV Ticket management based on ITIL principles
- Update internal registers and procedures to reflect the current status of rooms – includes maintenance reports
- Conduct Audits as required including compiling the report
- Provide Events support as required
- Ensure tickets are closed once satisfactorily completed
Skills and Experience
- Relevant experience in an AV incident response role
- Experience with AMX and Crestron control systems
- Experience in DSP programming is desirable
- Networking experience/certifications highly desirable
- Customer service experience
- Working with Children Check
- Problem solver, will own issues until full resolution
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with great attention to detail
- Strong organisational, time management & prioritisation skills
- Strong rapport and relationship building skills with both internal staff and customers
- Exceed customer expectations - ability to create wow and delight moments with customers
