We are growing our team in 2024 to work with some exciting new clients in our Audit and Assurance service line and we’d love to talk to motivated internal Audit and IT audit professionals about joining our team.

As a member of the Sententia Consulting team you will be helping clients with complex problems, working alongside our clients to develop and advise on implementing practical solutions. We keep our experienced team at the forefront to offer deep insights, leading practices and proven frameworks, ensuring that nothing is overlooked.
The Opportunity:
We deliver high quality internal audit, IT Audit and Assurance services to the Commonwealth Government across a wide range of agencies, from the biggest departments to smaller agencies.
We have opportunities available for the right people with approximately 2-8 years of experience, preferably in the government sector, delivering internal Audit and risk management advisory services (including performance audit, IT audit, governance and program assurance).
You will be involved in the full range of audit tasks including planning, fieldwork, reviewing and reporting and will ensure the effective progression and completion of audit tasks for final sign off and review. This may include managing teams to support the delivery of engagements.

Attributes that we are looking for include:
- Strong interest and technical skills in Audit and Assurance, IT audit, risk management, or process and performance improvement
- An ability to work well under pressure as part of a small team
- Strong interpersonal skills with good stakeholder engagement skills
- Strong analytical thinking with an understanding of audit objectives and an ability to apply your understanding to unique situations
- Positive attitude and enthusiastic energy
- Willingness to learn and develop on a journey with a fast growing one of the fastest growing companies in the country
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Undergraduate degree
- Professional certifications/ qualifications or aim to work towards them desirable

Eligibility:
- Must be an Australian citizen.
- Hold a minimum Baseline Security Clearance or have an ability to obtain one.
- Police check will be required.
