Our client, a highly respected locally based Auto Electrical organisation, is now offering an opportunity for a hard-working, self-motivated, and most importantly, passionate individual to commence an Apprenticeship.
The Role
The successful candidate will be trained up in all aspects of Automotive Electrical Technology including:
- Using test equipment to locate electrical and electronic malfunctions
- Dismantling and removing electrical and electronic assemblies and components
- Installing electrical equipment and electronic components in motor vehicles
- Connecting power-operated equipment and accessories to power supply
- Adjusting engine control systems and timing
- Testing and replacing defective alternators, generators, voltage regulators and starter motors
- Repairing and replacing faulty ignition and electrical wiring
This is a fantastic career-start opportunity to become trade qualified. As an apprentice, you will receive both on and off the job training working towards AUR303020 Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology which will see you employed directly by Kestrel by up to 4 years.

Requirements
- Current Driver’s Licence
- Completion of a work placement within electrical or a VET or VCAL program within Electrical (desirable)
- 100% commitment to undertaking this 4 year apprenticeship
- ability to obtain white card prior to commencement
