We're looking for an Event Coordinator to join our team!
We need someone who loves the planning side of an event to get the detail right, as well as going onsite to deliver and oversee all their plans come to life. You'll be working with clients who have booked into our events to ensure their planning and experience is top-notch - so people a people person is a must.
Based on the Northern Beaches this job suits someone local as you need to be in the office to coordinate with the rest of the team - and you need to be able to travel interstate a few times a year (let's say to around 5 - 8 events a year and these are generally across weekends). Our team of 25 people are a mix of ages and interests, and we're focused on organising and delivering some of Australia's favourite events to the highest standard.
You'd be working with our sales, marketing and operational team members as well as direct with clients and contractors. You need to be a great communicator, be fit and capable (we're a hands on team!), and some level of experience in exhibitions specifically is highly regarded.

Some other important notes:
- The travel is a requirement - if you have regular weekend commitments (like you're a semi-professional sports player) - this probably isn't for you
- This can suit someone without much experience looking to get their foot in the door and learn - so don't be afraid if you've not got 17 years of event experience!
- You need a car license, and driving a manual is also a plus
- You've got to have good written and verbal communication
- Experience with a CRM is also highly regarded, although it's easy to learn
- We're looking for trustworthy, enthusiastic and people who don't mind a challenge
- We're looking for team members that can work from the office
