Skillinvest is currently seeking 2nd or 3rd year Electrical Apprentices looking for an opportunity to complete a Certificate III Electrotechnology. Based locally in Mornington, you will receive ongoing mentoring whilst working towards becoming a trade qualified Electrician.

Our host is a well-established electrical business specialising in new home builds - with over 300 projects on the go at any time, no two days are the same. Our apprentices will work alongside skilled A Grade Electricians and will gain valuable hands-on experience in a safe and professional environment.

Duties

• Read electrical, architectural, and mechanical diagrams, drawing, specifications
• Test for, locate and repair electrical malfunctions
• Install electrical equipment and electronic control systems and cables
• Connect electrical equipment, switches, outlets, fittings, and circuit breakers
• Maintain electrical processes

Requirements

• Pre-apprenticeship Certificate II in Electrotechnology
• Strong mathematical and technical skills
• Logistical thinking and diagnostic ability
• Willingness to commit to work and study
