About the role:
As an Auto Electrician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy road transport vehicles and heavy-duty equipment at our client's site in Weipa. This includes conducting scheduled preventative maintenance and performing repairs to ensure the safe and efficient operation of equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy road transport vehicles and heavy-duty equipment.
- Identify issues, faulty find and troubleshoot problems to identify root causes.
- Conduct repairs and replacements of faulty parts and components.
- Always adhere to safety protocols and procedures.
- Complete maintenance reports and documentation accurately.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Auto Electrician, preferably in a mining or heavy industry environment.
- Trade qualification as an Auto Electrician
- Strong aptitude to problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Current Drivers Licence
- Provide a national Police Check
