Meandu Mine
BUMA Australia provides a total mine service to Stanwell Corporation's Meandu Mine to deliver coal to the adjacent Tarong power station. We are responsible for both managing and operating the mine.
Services provided include planning, drilling, overburden removal, coal mining, coal processing, rehabilitation, and maintenance of mobile and fixed plant. The project uses a combination of dragline and truck-and shovel operations. Meandu Mine currently has five working pits, with sufficient coal to fuel the stations until at least 2037.

As BUMA Australia grows, we are seeking experienced Auto Electricians to join our Maintenance Team at Meandu Mine. Come join a site with positive, energetic, and approachable leaders, where hard work and talent is appreciated.
- Working on various mobile plant equipment such as Hitachi and Komatsu.
- Supporting site requirements for planned shutdowns, servicing, breakdowns, and diagnostic work.
Profile description:
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Australian-recognised Auto Electrical Trade Certificate or equivalent.
- Air Conditioning system servicing and licence.
- Experience with computerised maintenance management systems including SAP.
- Previous experience in servicing and maintenance of mining mobile plant and equipment.
- Safety focused with a high attention to detail to abide by site safety processes.
Seeking an experienced Auto Electrician to join our Maintenance Team at Meandu, where you will enjoy a diverse range of work on state-of-the-art Komatsu & Hitachi machinery.
