Form of workAuto Masters has a job opening in their Fremantle store for a Qualified Mechanic with 3 + years' experience.
With no two days the same, you will be confident in inspecting and repairing all types of vehicles to the highest standards.You will be a qualified & knowledgeable mechanic and have a proven background in servicing, maintenance repairs, diagnostics, fault finding and repairing as well as general vehicle reconditioning.
This position will suit someone experienced who is looking to progress in their career.
As an Automasters Technician your daily duties will include:
- Working very closely with the Service Manager
- Solving technical problems
- Trouble shoot and diagnose issues on vehicles using our modern diagnostic equipment
- Mentor new apprentices and junior technicians
- Maintain workshop tools and equipment
- Complete necessary paperwork including job cards and safety inspection sheets
- Keep up to date with new technologies and tooling through our extensive network of suppliers and training organisations
- Place customer satisfaction at high importance and value
- A Full Trade Qualification with minimum 3 years in-workshop experience
- Previous proven experience working in a workshop as a qualified mechanic
- Experience in mechanical servicing, repairs, and fault diagnostic skills
- High standards in customer service and customer care
- Capacity to problem solve issues and find suitable resolutions
- Current full drivers’ licence
- Needs to be living in Australia and be a citizen, resident or have a suitable visa
- Up to $40 - $45 per hour + OT + Bonus
