About the Job
Following a period of sustained growth, we are seeking an experienced, customer focused individual to join the team as a Claims Consultant on a permanent full-time basis.
- Oversee the lodgement, policy coverage negotiation, and resolution of insurance claims in a timely and accurate manner.
- Ensure claims notes are clear and concise with all relevant documents filed accordingly.
- Client communication is at the forefront of all claim's interactions, ensuring the client is kept up to date on the progression of their claim.
- Managing own daily workflow and work towards achieving SLA’s and KPI’s.
- Ensure adequate employee coverage on phones whilst Claims Lead is not in the office to manage.
- Develop strong working relationships with Key Stakeholders, providing effective guidance on claims processes and requirements.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement within the Claims Team and contribute to projects to implement sustainable change.
About you
As the ideal candidate, you will be a confident and engaging individual looking to build your career in the Insurance Industry. In addition, you will bring with you:
- Demonstrated experience in a fast-paced, insurance claims environment, ideally with training experience.
- A tertiary, or Industry (i.e. ANZIIF) qualification within the business, management insurance/finance or education fields (preferable but not essential).
- Proficient with MS Office, Insight Broking System and other systems used by Aviso WA
- A vast general insurance background with an in-depth understanding around general insurance products, operational compliance requirements and claims management.
- The ability to build strong relationships across a range of internal stakeholders.
- Strong numeracy and literacy skills with the ability to analyse data and create insightful/useful reports for senior management.
- Excellent communication skills, proactive and highly motivated.
- Someone who takes their role seriously, but not themselves.
