The Opportunity:One of our clients is looking for an experienced Automation
Test Engineer to lead their automation efforts within a big project. This role is a cornerstone in identifying automation scopes across functional, regression, and performance testing, crafting test frameworks, and assembling a comprehensive test suite. The selected candidate will play a pivotal role, initially dedicated to one project, with the flexibility to transition to other projects or BAU tasks as needed.All candidates applying for this role must be Australian Citizens and have a current or an ability to obtain a Baseline security clearance.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and generate test data, ensuring a high-caliber testing environment for the project.
- Diligently report automation outcomes, detailing defects and insights identified.
- Align with agile methodologies to timely deliver automation scripts for product releases, while maintaining clear communication with the project lead.
- Elevate and refine the existing automated framework to enhance efficiency.
- Empower your peers through contributions to the training of testers, project members, and relevant staff.
To be successful in this role, you will need experience in:
- Integration with Jenkins Pipelines and deployment processes.
- Mastery over Selenium/Java and Serenity BDD for behavioral-driven development.
- Engage with multiple database technologies including MySQL, Postgres, and Oracle.
- Develop and automate tests for REST APIs using Java-based frameworks like RestAssured.
