One of Australia's leading Federal Government departments are looking to engage an experienced Automation Test Engineerto take ownership of identifying the Automation scope for functional, regression and performance testing as well as building the test framework and test suite. The role will be based in Canberra as well as remote workas they offer flexible working arrangements. The successful Automation Test Engineerwill be offered a 12 month contractwith 2 X 12 month extension options.
The successfulAutomation Test Engineerwill be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Creating test data to support a high quality testing environment for a Design Revitalisation project
- Reporting on the Automation results with appropriate details and defects identified
- Working with Automation technologies such as Selenium and Java
- Enhancing and improving the current Automation framework
The successful Automation Test Engineerwill have experience in the following:
- Strong hands on experience with Automation frameworks for both Functional and Performance testing
- Demonstrated experience with Selenium, Java, Jenkins and GitHub
- Experience in Automating API Tests and working with multiple database technologies
- 2 years + experience with Performance Testing (desirable)
