It’s meaningful, challenging and exciting work.Day-to-day, you will:
- Design and develop new features and enhancements on the platform along with performing root cause analysis and defect remediation.
- Identify and implement performance improvements and other operational efficiencies to reduce operational costs and effort.
- Maintain and operationalise engineering code management within the Axway platform application domain.
- Conform to source code branching and merging strategies for Axway application platform.
- Maintain awareness of industry trends for the relevant technology stack.
- Provide input into other Core Tolling, Billing and Collections teams as they seek to implement user stories.
- Contribute to driving a culture of innovation across the organisation.
- Solid engineering background or a Bachelor’s degree in information technology (or similar)
- Proven experience in API Gateways (Axway, Nginx, Kong, Amazon Api Gateway etc.)
- AWS Cloud Experience (S3, RDS, IAM Auth)
- Good understanding of event driven architecture and integrating solutions requiring custom coding, FTP/SFTP, LDAP, Certificate based authentication and common ssh and encryption standards.
- Proven Experience with Automation Stacks utilising several programming languages (Java, Unix/Shell, PowerShell, SQL, Perl, Python, JavaScript, REST API)
- Understanding and experience in using the principles of Agile, CI / CD and DevSecOps
- Strong experience with development tooling Jenkins; GitHub/Perforce; Eclipse; Artifactory; Ant & Gradle
- Have experience writing code for large-scale production environments.
- Self-motivated and track-record of learning new technologies
- Strong troubleshooting skills and creative problem-solving ability
- Strong technical skills, can engage with our senior engineers and solution architects to contribute to technical plans and designs.
- Proven experience in Integration of software components and COTS software, experience in the software integration of complex software projects
