The Role
Are you looking for a start in the Collision Repair Industry at a distributor level? Or are you on the tools and looking for a change? The SAPE Group is seeking a Storeman and customer service officer - Automotive to join our team based in Burpengary QLD, Australia.
As part of a close-knit team, you will be involved in the day-to-day customer service activity that includes face-to-face, phone and email communication while supporting the warehouse in picking all trade orders. You will also liaise with SAPE Sales Representatives to process inbound orders in a timely manner.
The role consists of the following duties:
- Answering phone calls inbound and outbound
- Storeman duties in picking and packing customer orders
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- General Warehouse and shop duties
- Retail store customer service and sales
- Providing sales support to our team sales representatives & technicians
- Building strong rapport with customers
- A positive and kind attitude
- Accurate mixing of automotive paints (training provided)
- Panel beating or painting experience would an advantage (not essential)
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous phone-based customer service experience
- Confident, engaging and a natural ability to communicate
- Resilient and able to overcome challenges
- Strong PC experience with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Order processing experience preferred (not essential)
- Pronto Stock Management experience preferred (not essential)
- Experience in the Automotive Industry retail or trade preferred (not essential)
