Position Overview:
As a Heavy Vehicle Trainer and Assessor at CMV Truck & Bus, you will play a crucial role in facilitating training and assessment for apprentices within the CMV Truck & Bus Apprenticeship Programme. This role requires a commitment to safety, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
- Facilitate learning, ensuring apprentices acquire both technical and non-technical skills.
- Provide training and assessment to apprentices, fostering their development throughout their apprenticeship.
- Offer ongoing individual support and mentoring to ensure the success of our apprentices.
- Review and evaluate training programs and assessment processes, making modifications as needed to align with industry changes and product development.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum of 5 years of industry experience in the Automotive Heavy Vehicle sector.
- Australian recognized Heavy Road Transport Mechanical trade certificate. (Cert 3 or higher)
- Strong focus on safety with the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- Current or recent experience working with apprentices.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (desirable, but not essential)
