With our head office in Lynbrook, Melbourne and Clients located around the world, we are looking for an experienced Automotive Mechanic to join and complement our workshop team.
Responsibilities:
- Trouble shooting, repairs and maintenance of our products and equipment
- Assembly & fitting of various mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic components to our ultrasonic rail test vehicles
- Work collaboratively with our electrical and electronic teams
- Maintain vehicle build/maintenance records
- General vehicle, equipment and workshop type maintenance activities
Mandatory:
- Trade qualified (preferably diesel)
- Excellent mechanical skills (minimum of 10 Years Mechanical experience)
- Ability to read and understand mechanical design drawings and hydraulic schematic drawings
- Quick learner with an enthusiastic attitude
- Basic - medium computer skills
- Quality driven - excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication & written skills
- Ability to work with team members to get the job done on time, every time
Advantageous:
- Fork lift / EWP licence
- Fabrication, welding (TIG /MIG) and Mill/Lathe skills
- Hydraulics experience
- Toyota Landcruiser knowledge or experience
