Automotive Product Director

What will you do as our Automotive Product Director?

You will bereporting to the CEO of Tembo and will work with the rest of the Tembomanagement team, providing leadership,innovation, and a strong focus on delivering high-quality Automotive Products. 

Duties andResponsibilities | What you will be doing for this role?

• Develop and execute comprehensive productstrategies to align with market demands, regulatory requirements, and companyobjectives.
• Ensure that all Automotive Products meetindustry standards and regulations, leveraging your expertise in technicalcompliance.
• Drive profitability through effective pricingstrategies, cost management, and identifying revenue growth opportunities.
• Stay updated on industry trends and marketdynamics, conducting market research to identify opportunities and threats.
• Lead and mentor cross-functional teams,including product development, engineering, quality control, and marketing.
• Oversee the entire product developmentlifecycle, from ideation to launch, collaborating with R&D teams tointroduce innovative technologically advance Automotive Products.
• Develop a deep understanding of customerneeds, ensuring that our products meet and exceed customer expectations.
• Monitor financial performance, managebudgets, and implement cost-saving measures while maintaining product quality.
• Collaborate with the sales and marketingteams to develop effective marketing campaigns and sales strategies to promoteAutomotive Products.
• Identify and mitigate potential risksassociated with product development, compliance, and market competition.
• Represent the company in governmental tenderactivities and regulatory discussions related to Automotive Products.

Qualifications andSkills | What we are seeking?

• Degreein the automotive field.
• With10+ years of experience in a senior management role
• More than 4 years of relevant work experience
• With10+ years of in-depth knowledge of the automotive industry, and automotivetechnologies including technical compliance and regulatory requirements
• Strongleadership, communication, and strategic planning skills.
• Experiencein driving business growth and profitability.
• Abilityto analyse market trends and make data-driven decisions.
• Exceptionalproblem-solving and decision-making abilities.
