Responsibilities:
- Customer Interaction: Greet and assist customers, assess their vehicle's service needs, and provide clear explanations of required repairs or maintenance.
- Service Recommendations: Utilize your knowledge of automotive systems to recommend appropriate services and communicate effectively with technicians to ensure accurate diagnostics and repairs.
- Appointment Scheduling: Efficiently schedule and coordinate service appointments, balancing workload to maximize service department efficiency.
- Communication: Keep customers informed about the status of their vehicles, address questions or concerns, and provide timely updates on service progress.
- Upselling: Identify additional service opportunities based on vehicle inspection and customer history, ensuring customers are aware of necessary maintenance and repairs.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed service records, including customer information, vehicle history, and service recommendations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an Automotive Service Advisor is preferred.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Knowledge of automotive systems and basic technical understanding.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in using Automotive Service management software.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in automotive technology or customer service is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a customer-facing role within the automotive industry.
