Automotive Spare Parts Store Manager

Autoparts Central (APC) is a proud local family owned company. We are well known in Bathurst, Lithgow and the surrounding areas, as the market leader in the supply of automotive aftermarket new components and systems in the automotive industry.

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, highly organised and reliable person to lead our team in Lithgow. With the possibility for immediate start.

Our business services the needs of both automotive trade professionals and the retail sector. We offer a delivery service as well as phone, digital and over the counter sales, operating Monday to Friday 8-5pm.

In this full-time position, your responsibilities will include:

• Inventory Management 
• Management of sales, warehouse and delivery staff
• Building and maintaining relationships with your customer base
• Understanding and management of annual budgets for the store's operation
• Provide positive leadership for all staff
• Train both new and existing staff
• Ordering of stock
• Working closely with our Bathurst store

You will have:

• Previous management experience (or)
• Lengthy automotive parts sales experience
• The drive and ability to set goals and achieve them
• Excellent phone & face to face communication skills
• An ability to Multitask
• A positive attitude
• A driver's license
• An understanding of basic computer software and systems
• The ability to follow procedures and work in a team environment
• Excellent time-management skills
• A passion for the automotive industry
• The ability to complete set tasks to a high standard and within an acceptable time period

The person we are seeking must have a strong commitment to quality customer service, above average leadership skills, a professional attitude, attention to detail, and have excellent communication skills. You must also be willing to work in a strong team focused environment. 

Previous Industry experience and/or relevant trade qualifications will be an essential requirement for this position.

Managerial experience is highly preferable.

An attractive salary package will be available to the successful applicant and will be negotiable dependent on relevant experience.
