Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive Spray Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for prepping vehicles, painting cars, matching and mixing paint, as well as prepping and painting wheels. The role requires meticulous attention to detail, a keen eye for color matching, and proficiency in automotive painting techniques.
Responsibilities:
1. Vehicle Preparation: Prepare vehicles for painting by sanding, masking, and priming surfaces to ensure a smooth and clean finish.
2. Paint Mixing and Matching: Skillfully mix and match paint colors to ensure an accurate match with existing vehicle paintwork.
3. Spray Painting: Apply paint to vehicles using spray guns, ensuring even coverage and a flawless finish.
4. Wheel Preparation and Painting: Prepare wheels for painting by sanding, priming, and masking, and apply paint to achieve desired finish.
5. Quality Control: Inspect finished paintwork to ensure it meets quality standards and customer expectations.
6. Maintaining Equipment: Maintain and clean spray guns, paint booths, and other equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
7. Adherence to Safety Regulations: Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.
Requirements:
1. Experience: Proven experience as an Automotive Spray Painter with a strong portfolio of past work.
2. Technical Skills: Proficiency in vehicle preparation, spray painting techniques, and paint mixing and matching.
3. Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
4. Color Matching: Ability to accurately match and mix paint colors to achieve seamless results.
5. Knowledge of Materials: Familiarity with different types of automotive paints, primers, and finishes.
6. Team Player: Ability to work effectively as part of a team, as well as independently when required.
7. Time Management: Excellent time management skills to ensure timely completion of tasks and projects.
