Job description

We are currently offering a rare opportunity for an experienced and highly-motivated Automotive Technical Trainer to make a difference in the dynamic Automotive Technical team at Bosch Australia. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity based at our Head Office in Clayton, however, we would consider a hybrid working situation with the right qualified candidate, this will involve local, domestic and international travel.

Position responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and delivering Automotive technical training/presentations on products, systems and diagnostic processes for Bosch customers and internal staff, including documents and digital media across Australia and New Zealand.
  • Identifying customer technical training requirements in conjunction with the Automotive Aftermarket team's input
  • Maintaining Automotive Service Training Centre (STC) and equipment to the required operational and quality level in compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HS&E) requirements.
  • Preparing and organising all equipment required to deliver training and ship all parts, equipment and required materials.
  • Developing and maintaining comprehensive technical knowledge of Bosch and non-Bosch automotive systems products through research, study and internal/external training courses
  • Participating in technical/quality meetings as required
  • Monitoring course feedback and develop concepts and methods to maintain training quality and attendance.

Qualifications

We are looking for a passionate and highly skilled Automotive Technical Trainer to join our dynamic team at Bosch. As an integral part of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the knowledge and expertise of our customers and internal staff.

To be considered for this position you are required to meet the following criteria:

  • Experience in delivery of training and presentations with Cert IV in Training & Assessment highly desirable
  • In depth understanding of automotive systems, product operation and diagnostic equipment
  • Experience in an Automotive workshop service and repair environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong entrepreneurial Mindset
  • Well-developed technical and methodological competence
  • Well developed time management and organisational skills
  • Strong MS Office Suite and Windows operating system knowledge
  • Digital content development experience would be favorable
