About the role
This is a full-time position with an immediate start available. We are looking for applicants who have demonstrated experience and mechanical/technical knowledge of automotive repairs and an understanding basic diagnostic principal and techniques.
This is a new position and a chance to be a part of something exciting from the start. The successful candidate will play a key role in an industry defining program and for the right person there are potential leadership/mentoring opportunities available with proven results.
You must have excellent communication and presentation skills, be well presented and be the ultimate team player. You will directly report to the National Sales & Operations and work closely with our customers, suppliers and other team members.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities will include:
- Development and management of industry specific and relevant information and data to create a library of specific industry information
- Create industry relevant training curriculum in line with business direction
- Ensure that all information and data is up to date and relevant to current marketplace.
- Facilitate training courses either face to face or in a digital format.
- Create and maintain technical relationships with key suppliers and some major customers.
- Maintain digital library of information, including but not limited to data management
- Create and maintain relationships with various industry bodies.
- Attend training events and industry functions.
- Support the National Sales & Operations Manager
Skills and Experience
- Experience working flexibly within a team
- Demonstratable knowledge of mechanical repair and automotive diagnostics
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office products
- Ability to prioritise and multi-task in this fast-paced environment
- Experience in training course development and or facilitation highly desirable
- Must be willing to travel interstate
