The Job Role
We are currently looking for experienced AutomotiveTechnicians / Motor Mechanics and Diesel Mechanics to join our team workingon a range of vehicles - Audi, Holden, Honda, Hyundai, Jaguar, Land Rover,Mitsubishi, Skoda, Toyota and Volkswagen. We have several workshops locatedacross Metropolitan Sydney.
We're looking for enthusiastic and motivated people to joinour team. All applications will be considered, including those seekingtemporary visa sponsorship. You'll work in our state of the art workshopdiagnosing and repairing our customers' vehicles. It's important that you arecapable of completing work to a high standard while at the same timemaintaining an efficient work ethic.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Carry out vehicle repairs and/or maintenance as per repairorder to vehicle, manufacturer and dealership requirements and report toWorkshop Foreman/Controller of any delays or inability to achieve the requiredoutcome
- Ensure all work is carried out to the highest of quality atall times, in line with dealer and manufacture guidelines and standard repairtime where possible
- Be familiar with, and maintain knowledge of manufacturerliterature, Technical Service and Warranty bulletins and repair procedures asoutlined on TOPIx
- To have a good understanding of current vehicle mechanicalsystems including electrical, transmission and safety control systems
- Ensure accurate clocking for each job line on repair order –including retail, warranty and internal
- Maintain a sound knowledge of all dealership products andservices
- Current trade qualifications as a Motor Mechanics / dieselmechanic
- The ability to work in a team
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong technical and diagnostic skills
- Experience with one or more of our brands will be highlyregarded
