Automotive Warranty Clerk

Coffey Ford Dandenong and BYD Dandenong are now searching for a Permanent Full-Time Warranty Clerk to join our team.Reporting to the Service Manager, this position is responsible for processing warranty claims and providing ongoing warranty support, including reviewing paperwork to ensure compliance with manufacturer procedures.

The ideal candidate for this role will ideally have experience with warranty policy and procedures.

About the role:   

• Assist Service Advisors in assessing warranty matters
• Compiling and completing warranty claims following guidelines set by the Manufacturer
• Keep valid, current and legible records of all claims submitted
• Maintain warranty storage of return parts and return all parts requested tagged within the Manufacturers time frame
• Maintain clear direction on factory policy decisions
• Maintain adherence to the Motor Dealers Act
• Maximise warranty rebate costs to each RO claim, staying within the Manufacturer’s guidelines
• Internal Costings of Repair Orders
• Assist Service reception when required

  
Do you have? 

• Previous warranty experience
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Intermediate skills within the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong verbal and written communication
• A great team player
