Role overview:
We have a number of opportunities in the AHS Operations team. Reporting to the AHS Field Builder Supervisor, you will be critical to the success of Fortescue's operation of Autonomous Haulage System (AHS) trucks. This role is accountable for the effective utilization of the Autonomous Haulage Fleet using Command Minestar. We are seeking people that are willing to learn the Autonomous Field builder role or the NLOS dozer operation to join our growing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Effectively manage a fleet of trucks and deliver on key dispatching metrics, as well as ensuring maximum utilization of machines to drive safety, productivity and costs.
- None Line of Sight dozer operation.
- Execute and manage fleet to achieve 24hr plan.
- Build virtual mine model ensuring actual matches virtual.
- Responsible for mine model optimization to achieve highest throughput in dynamic areas.
- Management of all virtual zones including blast, speed, traction
Qualifications and Experience
- Demonstrated interest in innovation and technology.
- A willingness to learn proficiencies in Fleet Management Systems, CAT Command for Hauling/Terrain
- Mining and metals industry experience - desirable
- Proven experience in fleet optimization
- Must be able to multitask on several activities/priorities at the same time.
- Current WA Driver's License
