About the role
The position is primarily responsible for providing a security presence whilst remaining alert and focused. You will be part of an enthusiastic, committed and customer focused team. You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to all our customers and build strong relationships with internal stakeholders. Duties include but are not limited to:
- Monitor passenger and checked baggage security screening
- Manage traffic flow and screening at security checkpoints within the airport
- Provide solid customer service and respond professionally whilst liaising with customers and internal stakeholders
- Maintain screening and aviation compliance by following procedures and safety measures
- Conduct incident reports as required
- It is a requirement that the succesful candidate resides in the Kalgoorlie region. FIFO opportunities are not offered for this role
Skills and experience
- Certificate II in Transport Security Protection (we will train the right candidate for FREE in this qualification)
- Ability to obtain an ASIC Clearance (we will also fund this application)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional customer service skills
- WA driver's license
