Innovaero is growing due to increasing commercial and military demand for autonomous unmanned aerial systems (UAS).
We are seeking an Avionic/Electronic Technician to join the Innovaero team at our HQ in Kardinya, WA.
Our ideal candidate would be looking for a full-time role, however, we will consider part-time and casual.

Key Duties and responsibilities
- Work with the design engineering team for the manufacture of prototypes per designs, specifications and technical data.
- Support test and evaluation of prototype avionic/electrical systems.
- Electronic and avionic product sub-systems manufacture and assembly in accordance with design data/work packs.
- Production and termination of PCB's, harnesses in accordance with approved drawings schematics and specifications.
- Delivery of avionic/electronic systems installation, configuration, test and maintenance.
- Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) flight line maintenance and operations support.
Qualifications and Experience
- Completion of relevant Cert IV / Diploma / Apprenticeship program.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the installation and modification of electronic systems.
- High proficiency with recording and interpretation of technical data, drawings, and schematics for electronic/avionic systems.
- Demonstrated high-level problem-solving, troubleshooting and communications skills.
- Demonstrated experience in a multidisciplinary engineering environment.
Desirable Requirements
- B2 LAME licence preferable.
- Avionic heavy maintenance background.
- Unmanned aerial systems maintenance and operations experience
- Schematic drafting skills and CAD for electronic/avionic systems.
- High-reliability soldering – PCB manufacture skills.

- Australian citizenship and willingness to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
- Provision of an acceptable Australian National Police clearance
