Our client, a large Federal Government entity focused on agriculture is seeking an Azure Developer.

About the client

They represent Australia's national interests in agriculture, and nature.

About the role

Our client is upgrading its Export Certification systems to deliver modern, high quality, robust and easy to use software solutions for a variety of export commodities. They are seeking senior developers with experience in the design and development of new and existing enterprise java software applications, hosted on the Azure cloud platform.

Duties

• Designing, developing, testing, & delivering applications using Java Spring (and associated open source projects) to be deployed as Azure App Services, Function apps, and Web Apps
• Designing & Developing Azure Logic Apps
• Participation in all Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily standups, playback/showcases, and retrospectives

Skills / Experience

• Extensive experience designing, developing & delivering solutions in accordance with requirements and solutions designs using Azure services
• Experience Designing and developing microservices based applications using concepts such as API orientation, domain driven design, self-containment, event driven architecture, eventual consistency etc.
• Experience delivering Azure resources via Infrastructure as Code (IaC) pipelines using tools like Azure Resource Manager (ARM), Terraform and Azure DevOps
