Brooks Airways is both an aircraft owner operator (AoC holder) based at Perth Airport and an aircraft Maintenance Repair Organisation (MRO) located at Jandakot, Western Australia; our MRO division provides dedicated in-house maintenance in support to our fleet of Learjet 35's and our fleet of King Air B200 turbo prop aircraft.
Position Overview:
We are currently seeking experienced and skilled B1900 Captains to join our team. As a B1900 Captain, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our aircraft while providing exceptional service to our passengers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct pre-flight inspections and ensure that the aircraft is airworthy
- Operate the B1900 aircraft in accordance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Ensure the safety and comfort of passengers and crew throughout the flight
- Communicate effectively with air traffic control and other relevant parties
- Monitor weather conditions and make informed decisions to ensure the safety of the flight
- Lead and mentor the flight crew to maintain a high level of professionalism and performance
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership abilities and a commitment to safety
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work irregular hours and travel as required
Required skills:
- B1900 Type Rating
- CASA ATPL
- CASA Class 1 flight crew medical certificate
- IR MEA (current IPC, 2D and 3D with at least 2 renewals)
- 2000 hours of total flying experience
- 1000 hours flying experience Pilot in Command
- 500 hours flying experience on Multi-Engine Command
- 350 command hours on turbine aircraft
Desired skills:
- Flight Examiner rating
- Training and Checking experience
