About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned backend Python developer to join our dedicated team and lead the build of the backend of our cutting-edge platform. This role involves the architecture and deployment, ensuring robust functionality. We have already built a working platform, but it’s time to take it to the next level, and you will play a critical role in driving our vision as we take our platform to market and beyond.
For the right person, this role could become a senior leader in the business as we build out our development team.
We are a highly collaborative team, and this role involves working closely with our design/frontend team to implement our superior UI and our consultants to ensure we are creating a platform that delivers true impact.

Your Impact
- Lead the backend development, deployment and optimisation of an innovative GenAI platform.
- Take the back-end architecture to the next level to create a truly impactful experience.
- Implement a seamless, user-friendly front-end interface in collaboration with our front-end team.
- Collaborate closely with other developers, consultants and the rest of the team.
- Implement security and data protection measures.
- Continuously iterate on the product based on feedback, analytics, and performance metrics.
About you
- 4+ years of backend development experience
- Expert Python programmer (other languages a bonus!)
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure)
- Strong experience in systems architecture – particularly in complex, scalable systems
- Experience in agile development processes and continuous delivery
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Good communication skills and desire to work in a collaborative team environment
Desirable Qualities
- Hands-on experience deploying AI models in production environments.
- Proficiency in RAG and fine-tuning
- Passion for AI, staying current with the latest research and trends.
