Complete Staff Solutions together with Ballina Shire Council are currently seeking an experienced Backhoe Operator to join the team in Ballina. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner to aid in the completion of various construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate backhoe equipment to perform tasks such as excavation, trenching, and grading according to project specifications.
- Conduct routine equipment inspections and maintenance to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Adhere to all WHS protocols and procedures
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Backhoe Operator
- Valid driver's license
- Current WHS White Card
- Backhoe operator ticket or certification
- Ability to operate backhoe equipment safely and efficiently
- Strong understanding of WHS and construction practices and techniques
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
