About the role
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Prepare and bake bread, cakes, cookies, pies, or desserts, according to recipe.
• Knead, cut and mould bread dough or pastry dough and shapes pastry goods.
• Select, weigh and mix ingredients and prepare fillings.
• Assist with menu development and follow recipes.
• Maintain high standards, quality control at all times
• Efficiently manage stock levels and order stock
• HACCP compliance, food safety procedures and OH&S regulations
• General kitchen and cleaning duties as required
Benefits and perks
Salary package ($55,000 to $65,000) will be awarded to the right candidate
Skills and experience
Ideal Candidate must be:
• Qualified Baker or Pastry Cook
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Passion for delivering exceptional customer service, excellent quality food production and service
• Ability to be highly organized, reliable and responsible
• Effectively work well under pressure
• Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
