6 Russell Pty Ltd is looking for a full-time experienced Bakery Chef with a passion for baking techniques to join our team in Sandy Bay, Hobart.
6 Russell is a new bakery in town, we are busy growing business. We need creative, experienced Bakery Chef looking for a challenging. A great working environment that fosters creativity in a supported and enjoyable workplace.
You will need to have the skills/experience to complete the listed daily responsibilities which include
· Planning, organising, preparing and baking of bread loaves and rolls, buns, cakes, biscuits and pastry goods as detailed in our menu of products.
· Mixing, cutting, moulding and shaping dough and pastry goods and preparing pastry fillings.
· Operating ovens to produce consistent, high quality bakery products.
· Ensuring that oven temperatures and time is in accordance with the type of product to be baked and baked items meet company standards.
· Monitor stocks for baking ingredients such as flour, sugar etc, and produce orders within budget.
· Maintaining quality and quantity control in accordance with established standards.
· Working with other Bakers and the Production Manager to ensure a high standard of the product quality and range is achieved.
· Collaborating effectively with colleagues in a bakery Department while also excelling independently.
· Cleaning and maintaining bakery machinery and equipment while adhering to safety protocol.
· Adhere to all OH & Safety Standards.
