Band 4 Executive Officer role based in the Hobart CBD, 8-12 week temp assignment

Based in the Hobart CBD, this position sits within the Tasmanian Education Sector, one of the largest departments of all Tasmanian Government agencies. This is an 8-12 week contract with the possibility of extension.
Your new role
You will provide Executive Support to optimise timely and efficient outcomes including:
Extensive diary management, organisation of travel, coordination of meetings.Manage high level communications and effective liaison between senior departments and Ministerial OfficesSupport the coordination of responses to all requests for information, briefings, and correspondenceManage minor projects, undertake research and prepare ad hoc reports as requiredCollate information and data to distribute to relevant directors to assist with their divisional reportingDistribute, track, file and ensure the security of complex documentation and data that contains sensitive informationPrepare, coordinate, update and distribute reports, correspondence, agendas, minutes and papers as chaired by management and directorsFormatting documentationWork collaboratively across the Department assisting in the development of business practices and proceduresMinute takingAny other ad hoc administration support requiredWhat you'll need to succeed
To be successful, you will be:
An experienced Executive Assistant or Executive Officer with a proven record of providing high level support to senior executive members.You will also have a demonstrated understanding of EXECUTIVE SUPPORT management practices and have CM9/10 or TRIM capabilities. You must have sound knowledge and experience in the use of office software products and information and records management systems, and the ability to manage small projects with minimal guidance. You will have high level communication skills (written and verbal). You will have excellent time management skills, outstanding attention to detail, be able to manage a variety of tasks concurrently and work within tight timelines.
