The Opportunity
As we enter our peak production period, are seeking an experienced Band Knife Operator to be an integral part of our manufacturing process.
- Your responsibilities may include based on your experience:
- Operate Band Knife cutting machines to cut foam according to specifications
- Ensure the accuracy of cuts and the quality of finished products
- Troubleshoot and address any issues with the equipment to minimise downtime
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Always follow safety guidelines and report any risks immediately
- Manual Handling – up to 25Kgs
About you
The successful applicant will have proven experience as a Band Knife Operator or in a similar role. As well as:
- Physically fit and capable of lifting to 25gs
- Good time management skills and a solid attendance record
- Proficiency in operating Band Knife cutting machines and related equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and meet production goals
- Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols in a manufacturing setting
