We have a great new opportunity for a Senior Barber to join our Lane Cove shop. We are seeking a motivated, full time barber who is dedicated to growth mindset within the business. Our Role is for a full time position.
ACE of FADEZ BARBERSHOP is a high end barbershop. We take pride in offering our clientele a premium experience, from giving our clients the cleanest cuts to educating them to style it at home with relevant product recommendations. We offer a hot towel service, eyebrow tidy up, beverage, arcade game machines, good tunes and even better chat with every service to create a lasting impression for our clients.
We provide advanced training to refine and develop your skills in all aspects whether that be styling, scissor work, straight razor, product knowledge or customer service. If you are not completely high skilled in everything our craft has to offer, we will help you to attain that level of skill.

Duties:
? Welcoming clients and booking appointments in person and over the phone.
? Using Fresha online service to move and adjust appointments to maximise services
? Consulting clients regarding desired hairstyles and recommending products accordingly
? Offering styling advice and recommendations to clients to achieve their desired hairstyle
? Washing, shampooing, conditioning and blow drying hair
? Providing steam facials, and clean shaves with hot towel service.
? Shaving, trimming and shaping client’s facial hair
? Providing hair treatments and colouring (if you have previous experience)
? Waxing the nose
? Ensuring any tools and instruments are cleaned and sanitised after use
? Ensuring a clean work station
? Supervising apprentices and trainees (as a senior barber)
? Cleaning and sweeping shop
To fit this role you must meet the following requirements:
? Minimum of 3 years experience as a barber and 6 years for senior barber position
? Experience in all areas of barbering: long & short hair, straight razor shave, scissor skills.
? Must be available Thursday - Sunday
? Exceptional attention to detail
? Great communication and customer service skills
? Passionate and dedicated to the craft
? Work well individually and as a team
? Hard working and want to reach your full potential as a barber
? Must be well groomed and have great presentation.
? Friendly, positive attitude
? Bonus: If you have experience dying, bleaching or applying treatments to hair!
