Join our team of Allied Health Professionals in Student Support Services.The Department for Education South Australia is seeking motivated and enthusiastic Occupational Therapists to join our School Buy-In team at Open Access College to support the strengths, opportunities and additional needs of children and young people across South Australia.School Buy-in is a dynamic multidisciplinary service model that adapts to meet the evolving needs of our schools, preschools and partnerships. School buy-in provides an intensive and wide scope of allied health services. Allied health services may be bought into one site, multiple sites or partnerships.As an Allied Health Professional working in school buy-in at Open Access College you will work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to promote the development, learning and wellbeing of children and young people. The specific goals and activities you will be delivering are contained within a project plan contextual to the sites buying in the service. As a member of Student Support Services and the school buy-in team you are expected to carry out responsibilities with a degree of autonomy. Project oversight and supervision are provided.Key responsibilities may include one or more of the following:
- Identify, deliver and evaluate targeted programs delivered in small groups, whole of site or whole of partnership
- Deliver coaching and professional development for staff
- Facilitate groups and information sessions for students, parents/caregivers
- Work alongside leadership to review and establish whole of site policies, procedures and practices
