The barista role at Harbison is an exciting opportunity for someone who loves coffee and wants to play a pivotal role in a busy café environment.
This role is responsible for a range of accountabilities that maintain the café operating smoothly and ensure customers receive a quality experience every time they visit.
You will be responsible for (but not limited to):
• Producing and serving meals for customers while ensuring safe food practices and adhering to health regulations set out by Harbison.
• Carrying out other reasonable duties within the overall function of the role, such as training new staff and assisting with marketing and promotions.
• Providing excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and ensuring they receive a great experience every time they visit.
• Maintaining a clean and welcoming customer environment, including ensuring tables are cleared and cleaned regularly.
• Handling customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
Positions available:
1 x Full Time 76 hours available for Burradoo – Monday to Friday or Wednesday to Sunday.
1 x PPT 30 Hours for Burradoo – Saturday and Sunday.
1 x PPT 30 Hours for Moss Vale -Saturday and Sunday Only.
To be successful in this role, you must:
• Previous experience in Barista roles essential and formal training preferred.
• Capacity to establish and maintain good workflow techniques.
• Good communication skills and a positive demeanour.
• Ensuring hygienic food preparation standards and work practices are maintained in line with health regulations.
